Wicked duo Jonathan Bailey and Ariana Grande are reportedly in talks to reunite for a huge new project.
In the beloved two-part movie, Bailey plays Prince Fiyero, while Grande stars as Glinda the Good Witch.
But the pair could be set to work together in the very near future, according to reporting by Deadline.
The publication revealed that Bailey and Grande are in the early planning stages to reunite in a revival of Stephen Sounheim and James Lapine’s Sunday in the Park With George.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning musical will reportedly be directed by multiple Tony Award and Oliver Award recipient Marianne Elliott. Should production move forward, the aim is a summer 2027 opening at London’s Barbican Theatre.
Reporter Baz Bamigboye added that he has been informed that all involved are understood to be “cautiously optimistic” that the musical will go ahead with the iconic duo.
Inspired by the painting, “A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte” by Georges Seurat, the musical revolves around George, a fictionalised version of Seurat, who immerses himself in his masterpiece.

It’s also centred on his lover Dot, while Act II features his great-grandson, a contemporary performance artist also named George, who is facing his own challenges.
Composer and lyricist Sondheim passed away in November 2021 of cardiovascular disease at the age of 91.
Following his death, Broadway icons gathered on the iconic red steps in New York’s Times Square to perform a moving tribute.
Sondheim was responsible for many of the most successful and beloved musicals of all time including West Side Story, Into the Woods, Folies, Company and Sweeney Todd.
As a composer, he was one of the most critically acclaimed artists in Broadway history, holding the record for the most Tony Award wins as a composer, as well as eight Grammy Awards and an Academy Award for Best Original Song, which he won for writing “Sooner or Later (I Always Get My Man)”, sung by Madonna in the 1990 film Dick Tracy.
