Celebrity Traitors’ Cat Burns has taken to social media to share an update on her best reduction with fans.
On Thursday (8 January), the singer-songwriter shared an update with fans to her Instagram Story.
Text over a photo of Burns recovering in a hospital bed shared that she had “always struggled” with her breasts since the age of 12.
“They caused me so much pain when exercising and I deeply hated the oversexulisation it brought,” Burns wrote, adding that she had tried many alternatives such as different bras, but felt no relief.
Burns explained that she wanted to do the surgery while she “was young and healthy and by the universe’s graces able to”.
She added that the surgery will enable her to “love [her] body going into the next part of [her] life”.
“Today marks the start of my new life! Surgery went really well I did affirmations before and after and I’m feeling ok!”
Burns signed off by sharing that she would use her time in hospital to watch The Traitors.

The “Go” hitmaker, who is dating Jodie Rockett, was a popular Traitor amongst the TikTok sapphics on 2025’s The Celebrity Traitors.
She was thrust into the spotlight through TikTok, where her now double-platinum single “Go“ went viral in 2022, peaking at No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart after Sam Smith added a guest verse. The success earned her a place on BBC’s Sound of 2023 poll, three Brit Award nominations, and a spot on the 2024 Mercury Prize shortlist.
Burns released her debut album Early Twenties in July 2024. She previously described her songs as “soul bearing” and “very emotional” to the BBC. “But most people who know me personally know that I’m the least serious person ever,” she continued. “I laugh before I cry. I think people will see that side to me; the lighter side that doesn’t take things too seriously and is here for fun.”
