A scene from the latest episode of financial thriller Industry has swiftly gone viral for featuring Kit Harington’s character Henry Muck in a compromising position at a gay glory hole.
In season four’s sixth episode, which dropped on HBO yesterday (15 February), Harington’s Henry Muck, newly anointed as the CEO of Tender, finds himself in a hot and heavy tryst at a gay club with the company’s co-founder Whitney Halberstram (Max Minghella).
The knotty, manipulative relationship between Henry and Whitney descended into murky new depths in the latest episode, entitled “Dear Henry”, as it was revealed that the pair had a fling when they were teens.
The psychosexual tension between the pair began early on in the episode, when Whit visited Henry at his London flat and walked in on him in the shower. Whit lingered at the bathroom door looking longingly at Henry, clutching a bouquet of flowers.
After noticing Whit staring, Henry smirked approvingly. But after getting out of the shower, his newly minted wife Yasmin (Marisa Abela) arrived, and cottoned on to the tension between them. “Do you enjoy the fact he wants to f*** you?” she asked him pointedly.

During a plush dinner between Whit, Henry and their auditor Jacob Oleander (Steven Cree), the trio tucked into a bottle of wine, despite Henry’s until-recent sobriety. Intoxicated, the pair headed to a gay club, where they sweatily danced up against each other.
In the club’s red-hued dark room, Whit enticed Henry towards a glory hole. As he received oral sex, Whit pushed up against him and stroked his head, telling him that “everybody wants [him]”. Whit embraced Henry as he climaxes, rounding off the most intense and explicit intimacy between the brooding pair so far.
Online, the steamy yet sinister scene has gone viral, leading to a slew of Industry novices declaring that they’ll now start watching the streaming hit.
“Is Jon Snow…. Bottoming?!!!” wrote one fan on X, formerly Twitter, jokingly referring to Kit Harington’s infamous Game of Thrones character. “Do I need to watch Industry? Please someone fill me in!!!!”
Writer Zoë Rose Bryan also joked about having not seen the show, writing on X: “Whole time I’ve thought this show was about stocks.”
“This is literally what the fans want to see,” a third declared, which seems accurate considering the, erm, conversation it has sparked online.
“Whole timeline is this clip over and over again… I’m afraid I’m gonna have to tune in,” a fourth relented.
Industry season four episode six is streaming now on BBC iPlayer in the UK. Season four continues on HBO every Sunday in the US.
