Gay influencer couple drugged and assaulted as they share horror story

Married influencers Toby and Mikey Perryman-Payne, known together as Toby’s Home, have shared a harrowing story that saw them drugged and sexually assaulted.
The couple share home renovation and organisation ideas on social media. Their Instagram account has more than 616,000 followers.
However they recently shared some different content, opening up to their followers about a horrific ordeal they’d been through during a past trip to Los Angeles.
Toby said in the video: “When we were in LA in September 2024, we went for dinner in West Hollywood and then went to a bar afterwards. We ordered one drink and then completely blacked out.”
He went on: “I then woke up in a completely strange place, with a person I didn’t recognise and I had been completely stripped of all my clothes.”
Toby went on to explain that he soon realised he was “surrounded” by weapons, but did not elaborate on exactly what he saw.
He also realised Mikey wasn’t with him, saying: “I was obviously just really scared about what was happening.”
Toby went on: “I then managed to convince the person that was in the room with me to let me leave the room with him, to see Mikey and this other person passed out on the sofa.”
Mikey added: “At the same time as that, me and the other guy were basically coming around but still quite out of it.”
He said that Toby’s quick-thinking “saved” the both of them, and they managed to get out.
They shared their terrifying ordeal in an attempt to “take back their power”, explaining it left them avoiding social events or even going on holiday.
Toby said: “This year, we are taking our power back, we are taking control of things and not letting stupid idiots ruin our existence.”
They have since jetted off to Barbados for a holiday together.
