A gay MAGA fan is upset men won’t sleep with him, and social media users can’t believe the extreme “lack of self-awareness”.
Since being sworn-in as the 47th president of the United Stated, Donald Trump has enacted a series of anti-LGBTQ+ orders, so it isn’t surprising that some gay men don’t want to sleep with MAGA supporters.
However, Trump’s anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric seems to have gone over the heads of some of his gay supporters, including one who has suggested suing the Democratic Party because he can’t get laid.
A Threads user by the name of Steve Jones posted a screen shot from Facebook’s “Conservative Gay Singles Group”. The Facebook group appears to be a dating site for gay singles who are MAGA fanatics.
He asked, referencing the post: “Gay Trumper now upset that other gay men don’t want to sleep with him…anyone want to join his class action lawsuit?”
Jones kept the user’s identity anonymous, but shared the contents of the post.
‘It affects our free speech’
The post began: “Any of you feel like seeing the Dems for diving gay? Read the personals ‘no Trumpers, if you’re Republican don’t write me!’ I think we have some class action or some case here, but I’m no lawyer!”
The user continued: “I’ve lost family and friends from all their hateful dividing and constant Trump basing … it seems like a winning case to me. It affects our free speech, and more!.. If we even mention our political views, we are tossed aside immediately and called traitors! We should do something to help narrow minded Democratic anti-Trump views from being the only view of our people! Anyone agree?”
Comments under Jones’ post hit out at the unknown user’s audacity.
“You made your bed, now lie in it,” one user responded, while another wrote: “Good lord. Zero self awareness.”
“It’s a violation of my free speech if you won’t smash,” another commenter joked, with another writing: “I’m shocked he’s not a lawyer.”
“This has got to be satire because it’s the lack of self-awareness for me,” another Threads user commented.
