Former Pussycat Dolls member Carmit Bachar has thanked the LGBTQ+ community amid news that she was not invited back for the group’s reunion, saying that performing at Pride was one of the “most meaningful and joyful” moments of her career.
Taking to Instagram on 17 March, Bachar, 51, wrote: “As an original member of The Pussycat Dolls, that chapter of my life will always hold profound meaning. I carry with me deep gratitude for the music we created, the experiences we shared, and most importantly, the incredible fans around the world who supported us.”
She continued: “I am especially thankful to the LGBTQ+ community – performing at Pride events has been among the most meaningful and joyful moments of my career.”
Bachar went on to explain that she was not contacted regarding The Pussycat Dolls’ upcoming reunion and that she learned about it at the same time as the rest of the public.

“While this is disappointing on a personal level, I remain proud of the role I played in helping shape what The Pussycat Dolls became,” she said, explaining that she wanted to speak “openly and honestly” on the matter.
“I believe the legacy of any group is built not only by those seen on stage, but also by the collective contributions and shared vision that brought it to life. My intention in sharing this is not to create division, but to honour the truth and the fans who have supported us throughout the years. Transparency and respect are values I hold deeply.”
Bachar concluded by saying she is currently choosing to focus on her wellbeing and will “move forward with positivity and purpose”.
“I remain open-hearted about the future and grateful for the continued love and encouragement I receive,” she said. “Looking ahead, I’ll be sharing new creative projects, including upcoming music, visual work, and an exciting collaboration with a television and music industry icon… soon!”
