Luke Evans‘ curtain call in The Rocky Horror Show has gone viral after social clips showed him dancing to “Time Warp” in a revealing Dr Frank-N-Furter costume on stage.

The Welsh star is set to make his Broadway debut in the role, with the production officially opening on 23 April.

Speaking to Out, Evans said the part is a long-awaited milestone. “If you come from theatre, you know everyone’s dream really is to do Broadway at least once. I finally got my moment in the most insane role I could ever imagine doing! I’m having more fun than I probably should be having in rehearsals. It’s amazing and this character is crazy,” he said.

The online buzz has also been fuelled by images of Evans in costume, after a Vogue feature shared photos of him in fishnets, stiletto heels, and a corset.

Evans has also outlined how he wants to play the character. Speaking to Vogue, he said: “Frank can be flamboyant and feminine, slinky and sultry, but there’s a menace to him,” adding: “I want him to feel attractive in many, many different ways so that men and women can look at him and go, hmmm.”

The clips, filmed during curtain call, show Evans leaning into the show’s high-camp energy as the cast takes their bows. With opening night weeks away, the videos have helped turn his Frank-N-Furter into an early talking point for the revival.

Fans have gone wild for Evans’ costume – particularly his little pants.

One person said on X: “Luke Evans rocking that Andrew Christian inflated pouch a** jockstrap.” Another said: “Why is his junk just out there?”

Another said: “Okay, watching this soon!”
