Xbox One
The Xbox One is an eighth-generation console developed by Microsoft and released in November 2013. Its main competitors were the PS4 and Nintendo Wii U. The Xbox One was praised for its innovative and refined controller design and the ease with which people could stream to services such as Mixer and Twitch. Popular games included FIFA 20, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Minecraft and Grand Theft Auto V. The console is powered by an AMD “Jaguar” Accelerated Processing unit (APU) with two quad-core modules totalling eight x86-64 cores clocked at 1.75 GHz. Its Wireless Controller has a smoother form and a more ergonomical shape that the Xbox 360 controller. The Xbox One also has an Adaptive Controller for users with disabilities.
