Lincolnshire police have asked gay people to be on the lookout for a 48-year-old man who escaped from North Sea Camp last month.

He has scars on his right eye, right temple and both hands and speaks with a Southern accent.

Peter Bastin is gay and Lincolnshire Police are appealing to the gay community or any member of public who knows him and may have seen him since 27 November to contact them urgently.
Extensive enquiries are being carried out in Lincolnshire and with other forces, including Leicestershire, Essex, Sussex and London, where he may have connections.
Lincolnshire Police are asking the public not to approach Peter Bastin, but to dial 999 and report any sightings.
Superintendent Maria Staniland said:
“We would appeal for any members of the public, particularly from the gay community, who have seen Peter Bastin to contact us immediately.
