Miley Cyrus: ‘I get called an ugly lesbian a lot’
US singer Miley Cyrus has taken a swipe at trolls on Twitter who are constantly giving her homophobic abuse.
The Wrecking Ball star says she is fine with being called gay, but finds jibes about her looks “hateful”.
“I get called an ugly lesbian a lot more than one would think. Or maybe not”, she tweeted on Sunday. “Can u at least call me an interesting lesbian? I hate the u word.”

Earlier this month, Cyrus tweeted a photo of herself wearing a t-shirt by designer Marc Jacobs in support of same-sex parenting.
In the past, Cyrus has showed her support for the LGBT community by having a pro-equal marriage symbol tattooed on her middle finger.
