Sam Smith wins big at Grammys
Out gay singer Sam Smith won big at the Grammys, picking up four gongs at the 2015 honours.
The singer came out in May last year, when he revealed that his album In the Lonely Hour was about a man he fell in love with.
Smith was nominated for Best New Artist, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance for ‘Stay With Me’, and Best Pop Vocal Album for ‘In the Lonely Hour’.
He walked away with Song and Record of the Year for ‘Stay With Me’, Best New Artist, and Best Pop Vocal Album.
In the video, Smith, who recently split up with Jonathan Zeizel two weeks after going public with their relationship, gets married in a church setting as dozens look on.
