You can’t make this up – Fox News has actually tasked a panel of three men to judge whether women should be allowed to wear leggings.

In responding to a video from a Tennessee woman who went viral after offering her opinion on leggings, and whether they should be worn as pants, Fox News conducted its own investigation.

The Fox and Friends segment saw not an expert in the field of athleisure – the stylish arm of athletics wear – but three random men.

The panel included Fox anchor Julie Banderas’ husband Andrew Sansone, Fox News legal analyst Arthur Aidala and Duck Dynasty protagonist Willie Robertson (who previously said he ‘wasn’t sure’ if being gay is a choice).

“Are you comfortable with the women in your life parading in public in leggings?” host Steve Doocy asked the panel.

All of the panellists weighed in on the topic, as a woman wearing leggings was paraded in front of them to be scrutinised.

They all gave their opinions on the topic saying one woman had “earned” her right to wear leggings.

Another said the women should only wear leggings at the gym.
