Snapchat star Bobrisky tells people to ‘mind your business’ as he confirms he is gay
Bobrisky has asked people to ‘mind your business’ as he re-confirms his sexuality as a gay man.
The Nigerian social media star, who is known as the Nigerian male barbie, has refused to deny his sexuality in spite of the fact that it is illegal to be gay in the country.
After being forced to remove an Instagram post sharing his sexuality last year, the star, whose real name is Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju, has posted to Snapchat that he is in a relationship with another man.
“I’m gay, my bae f*** my ass – what else?” he wrote on Snapchat.
“Abeg dis is 2018 mind your business and drink water.”
In another post, the star declared that this was the “year for husband snatching”.
“I repeat, dis year is HUSBAND snatching,” the post read.
“Prevent your man from adding me on here because I will use him and drain him especially if I don’t like him. When I am done I will send him back to you. Be warned,” he added.
The star first made headlines about his sexuality when he said he was in a relationship with a government official last November.
“Both ex and present bae are over 50 years old; I like them old. Dating a government official is sweet but the trouble you face in it is hard. My bae has locked me up before,” he said.
“All this house boys and girls coming to drop comment on page – are you all stupid?” he wrote on Instagram.
“Do you think your hate comments can change me? Why are you trying so hard to get my attention?”
“F*** off my page and go and find something meaningful to do with your life. Just this morning I have made up to 750, 000 Mb hustle still continue. You are here wasting your Mb on someone else life style,” he continued.
“If all your insults bothered me I should have stopped posting here. Yes am gay, I will go to hell fire, thanks. Please what next? I’m tired of the same words, I want to hear something new, cheers!” he added.
Bobrisky was allegedly arrested for coming out as gay by the Lagos police force in November 2017.
Authorities have said that they cannot imprison him unless he is “caught in the act”.
