Girlsway lesbian porn director suspended after rape allegations

Lesbian porn director Stills by Alan, known for his work with the studio Girlsway, was suspended by production company Gamma Films after being accused of rape.
Adult movie actor Lily Adams alleged Alan anally raped her in 2016 in a Twitter thread posted on December 29.
“Okay y’all, bear with me bc this is really painful to talk about and my hands are literally shaking as I type this because I’m so nervous of the backlash. But f**k it, here it goes. I’m not gonna sit back and let people like this continue to hurt other girls as they did me,” the 22-year-old wrote at the beginning of the thread.
“About 2 years ago @Stillsbyalan asked me to come over for coffee and a ‘go-see’ since I had never shot for Girlsway before. I was new to the industry and he invited me to his house, but I was too naive then to realize that is a major red flag. Go-see’s are NEVER done like that,” Adams recalled.
She described Alan taking her to a “princess room” and demanding her to undress, before initiating vaginal intercourse.

Adams wrote that part was consensual because “I never said yes but did not say no either?”—although advocates against sexual violence do not consider the absence of a vocal denial as the assertion of positive consent.
What Adams said she vocally did not consent to, however, was anal sex.
“I tell him to please take it out, it hurts (because I had only had anal sex one time before). He said something along the lines of ‘I’m old enough to be your father, you do as I say,'” she wrote, adding: “So, completely traumatized, I laid there crying into the pillow while he continued to force his way into my ass, harder and harder each time. Not even caring about my pain.”
Adams said she kept crying about the alleged assault for months, but did not discuss it with anyone—until she recently received an anonymous message offering solidarity about what happened to her.
The anonymous email also alleged that Alan abused other girls, and that Gamma Films head of production Bree Mills, who has worked with Alan on several projects, covered up for him.

Girlsway has often been praised for its production quality and Mills and Alan were seen as instrumental to the studio’s success. In a 2016 LAWeekly article about Girlsway, the two are described as “creative partners” fostering the studio’s “philosophy of openness.” One review of lesbian porn movies describes Mills and Alan as “the power forces behind Girlsway.”
“You’re truly missing out on something if you don’t check out their brilliant movies,” the review read. “They successfully fuse social issues and concerns, like the fear of catching gay (yup, that’s a thing) in with incredibly erotic lesbian porn.”
In her Twitter thread, Adams said she confronted Mills about the allegations against Alan, but the producer dismissed them.
“She denied it all to be some crazy fan trying to ruin her business, which is ridiculous because absolutely nobody knew what happened that night except Alan and me. (Unless HE told others),” Adams wrote.
Stills by Alan was most recently nominated for Best Director at the AVN Awards for his work for lesbian porn studio Girlsway.
Adams said she decided to speak up about the alleged rape because she has talked to other girls who said were abused by Alan and she refused to stay silent any longer.
“F**k an industry that protects rapists and nominates them to be ‘best director’ etc..to see that makes me sick to my stomach,” she wrote, referring to Alan’s multiple best director nominations at the AVN adult entertainment awards.
“To see that makes me relive the pain. To see that makes me want to die,” she added.
Girlsway production company says it’s investigating allegations
Gamma Fims issued a statement in response to Adams’ allegation.
The statement, signed by the lesbian porn production company’s president Karl Bernard read: “In regards to recent comments concerning one of our contracted directors, Gamma Films Group Inc. is proactively encouraging, supporting and cooperating with the individuals involved to report their statements to the appropriate authorities to ensure that there will be a thorough legal investigation.
“As a company, Gamma Films Group Inc. takes these comments very seriously. We care tremendously about the adult industry and the safety and well-being of everyone in it. We will also be opening an internal investigation and, until further notice, have suspended all Gamma Films productions through Stills by Alan and SBA Creative Concepts.”
Both Mills and Alan shared the statement on their Twitter accounts.
Adams has hired a lawyer, Robert Rafii, and is encouraging anyone who is considering coming forward with allegations of abuse to contact him.
“Your confidentiality will be 100% respected unless you say otherwise, and our money is not what he is after. Only our safety and well-being. Please don’t forget, every voice helps,” she wrote.
