Gay porn actor Austin Wilde has created a wonderful challenge to all the Bird Box memes out there by turning a key speech from the Netflix thriller into a hilarious viral tweet about gay sex.

On Wednesday (January 2), the American adult entertainer tweeted Sandra Bullock’s character’s opening speech from the post-apocalyptic horror film—in which she warns her children about deadly supernatural beings—with the caption: “Me giving my bottom ‘the speech.'”

It works tremendously well as Bullock‘s Malorie says: “It’s going to be rough, it’s gonna feel like it’s going on for a long time, so it’s gonna be hard to stay alert.

“I spent an embarrassing amount of time laughing at this before I posted it”

“It’s gonna be even harder to be quiet, but you have to do both. You have to do every single thing I say, or we will not make it.”

The 35-year-old gay porn star’s post has racked up more than 27,000 retweets and likes, surprising Wilde himself, who tweeted that his app was freezing and crashing under the pressure, adding: “It was supposed to be a cute ‘hehe’ with a few people, but here we are .”

He also revealed his favourite part of the joke, saying that the line “‘so it’s going to be hard to stay alert’ f**king kills me ,” before admitting: “I spent an embarrassing amount of time laughing at this before I posted it.”

His tweet is certainly funnier and less harmful than other Bird Box memes, such as the dangerous challenge meme in which people blindfold themselves and attempt to walk around without suffering injury.

Its spread led Netflix to post a warning on Twitter on Wednesday (January 2), writing: “PLEASE DO NOT HURT YOURSELVES WITH THIS BIRD BOX CHALLENGE.”

Wilde’s followers loved the tweet, with many proclaiming themselves “dead” or “deceased” after viewing it.

Another fan wrote: “This tweet deserves an award ,” while a more enthusiastic commenter said: “I’M SCREAMING BECAUSE I WAS JUST IN THIS SITUATION LMAOOOO I ALMOST DROPPED MY PHONE.”

One person wrote that as far as they were concerned, “this is the best thing I’ve ever seen tweeted.”

Some agreed with Wilde’s opinion on the best line from Bullock’s lecture, while others suggested alternate stand-out sections.

“The ‘or we will not make it’ sent me ,” said one fan, while another wrote that “the ‘you have to be quiet’ part took me out .”

Others were predictably keen to be the subject of a speech like Bullock’s from Wilde, with one follower tweeting: “When are you gonna give me this pep-talk” and another asking simply: “Can I be your bottom?”

Many people told Wilde to “yell at me daddy” and informed him: “I’m ready.”
