P!nk teams up with drag queens for epic lip sync ‘Walk Me Home’ music video

P!nk has dropped a new music video for single “Walk Me Home,” starring drag queens.
The music video, released on Monday (April 29) to mark the release of new P!nk album Hurts 2B Human, features five drag queens from London’s Sink the Pink drag collective.
P!nk releases drag queen lip sync extravaganza
In the clip, the queens don red outfits and short blonde wigs to audition for two conservative-looking judges, lip-syncing to the track.
The music ends with the two judges looking stunned, before breaking out into an enthusiastic applause.
Taking to Twitter, P!nk wrote: “This is the BEST lip sync battle Iāve ever seen feast your eyes! āWalk Me Homeā by @SinkThePinkLDN ā¤ļø Check it out!”
Sink the Pink tweeted: “Well, this was always going to happen… Take #SinkThePink, @BGWMC [Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club] and one giant dose of megastar @Pink and this is what you get. Share, love, see the full vid.”
It’s the second video for the track, which received another music video in March starring P!nk dancing in the streets.
P!nk is a long-time LGBT+ ally
It’s not the first time P!nk has released a video featuring LGBT+ content.
In 2018, the singer released a music video for track “Secrets” full of same-sex dancing.
The singer, real name Alecia Beth Moore, also made a passionate speech at the MTV VMAs in 2017 in defence of gender non-conforming people addressing her six-year-old daughter Willow
She said: “Recently I was driving my daughter to school, and she said to me, out of the blue: āMama, Iām the ugliest girl I know… I look like a boy with long hair.’
“My brain went to, you’re six, who said this, can I kick a six-year-old’s ass? But instead I went home and made a PowerPoint presentation for her.
“In that presentation were androgynous rock stars and artists who live their truth, are probably made fun of everyday of their life, and carry on, and wave their flag and inspire the rest of us.”
The artist added: “When people make fun of me, that’s what they use. They say that I look like a boy, or I am too masculine, too many opinions, my body is too strong. But do you see me changing my hair, changing my body, changing the way I present myself to the world?”

The star has also opened up about her decision to raise her kids gender neutral.
She said: “We are a very label-less household.
āLast week [daughter] Willow told me she is going to marry an African woman. I was like: āGreat, can you teach me how to make African food?ā
“And sheās like: āSure Mama, and we are going to live with you while our house is getting ready.ā
āI was in school and the bathroom outside the kindergarten said: āGender Neutral ā anybodyā, and it was a drawing of many different shapes.
āI took a picture of it and I wrote: āProgressā. I thought that was awesome. I love that kids are having this conversation.”
