From Laverne Cox to Jameela Jamil, these celebrities went all out for Halloween and we’re living for it
The sweet treats on demand, mysterious vibes and ability to dress as a meme or a clown and face no judgement. Let’s face it, Halloween is one of the best holidays of the year.
In the run up to the big day, celebrities have been getting in the spooky spirit. So here’s a rundown of the best costumes so far.
Demi Lovato.Â
It’s safe to say that Demi Lovato went all out as Pennywise. From the face make-up to the balloon, she was not clowning around with this one.

Halsey.
Halsey’s Marilyn Monroe costume went down an absolute treat at her rockstar-themed Halloween party/concert.
And yes this is the same party where she was joined on stage by 2000s icon Avril Lavigne for a rendition of unofficial gay anthem ‘Girlfriend‘.
The latex, the make-up, the hair. Just yes!
Laverne Cox.
Laverne Cox arrived at the Casamigos Halloween party in Beverly hills in style!
This warrior-themed leotard is everything and we could not stan harder.
Bella Thorne.
Despite being busy on set filming The Babysitter 2, Bella Thorne took the time to dress up as a ’70s disco queen.
In the now-deleted Instagram post, the actress said she’s “always working on Halloween” but she evidently didn’t let that stop her.
Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau.
Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau braved the double (triple with the hat) denim to dress up as 2001 Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake.
Mongeau joked on Instagram: “Oops I did him again… this is one of my favourite costumes I’ve ever done, thank u Jakey for subjecting urself to this torture.”
Anne Marie.
Doppelgänger alert! Yes it’s Halloween, but it’s SCARY how much Anne Marie looks like Billie Eilish.
Even Eilish herself said how much the costume was “tripping her out”.
Nina Dobrev.
The Billie Eilish costumes just keep on coming and they do not disappoint.
Also at the Casamigos party, Nina Dobrev channels Eilish from her ‘When the Party’s Over’ music video and wins Halloween in the process.
Jameela Jamil.
If you thought we were done with the Billie Eilish costumes, you thought wrong.
Attending the Spotify Soho Halloween pop-up as DJ, Jameela Jamil dons a crown and tracksuit to complete her look.
On Instagram, she said: I’m dressed as Silly Eilish, the weird third sibling they didn’t tell you about.”
Jessica Biel.
It’s a well known fact that Jessica Biel was not a fan of her husband Justin Timberlake’s band, NSYNC, back in the day.
But she’s certainly embracing the look now as she donned a ’90s jumpsuit and curly blonde wig to channel a young Timberlake.
Biel took to her Instagram to caption the photo: “This is what happens when you admit on TV that you don’t know any NSYNC songs and you’re married to @justintimberlake. Well played, husband, well played.”
Oh and Timberlake is in the microphone.
Stormi Webster.
When you have the opportunity to dress your child up for Halloween, the possibilities are endless.
But Kylie Jenner didn’t need to look far for inspiration for Stormi’s outfits. The answer was clear: Kylie Jenner, obviously
Here, Stormi recreates her mother’s 2019 Met Gala look, purple hair and all.
Some fans weren’t impressed though, calling the reality TV star a “narcissist”.
Missy Elliott.
We’re all for legends stanning legends so there’s no one else Missy Elliott could have dressed up as but herself.
Here Elliott recreates her first album cover and it is super duper.
