The cast of Netflix’s Queer Eye are set to face off against the original Fab Five in a spectacular charity special – and it’s just what we need right now.

Netflix’s Queer Eye cast will compete against the original Fab Five in the season six premiere of Celebrity Family Feud, with both teams raising money for LGBT+ charities.

Jonathan Van Ness, Tan France, Bobby Berk and Antoni Porowski will all compete, but notably, Karamo Brown will not participate in the episode.

Instead, the foursome will be joined by Wesley Hamilton, who appeared in season four of Netflix’s Queer Eye.

Netflix’s Queer Eye cast will face off against the original Fab Five on Celebrity Family Feud.

They will face off against Ted Allen, Kyan Douglas, Thom Filicia, Carson Kressley and Jai Rodriguez on Celebrity Family Feud.

The episode was announced by Queer Eye cast members in a promotional teaser filmed from their homes in coronavirus lockdown.

The teaser opens up with Carson Kressley asking: “Are you ready for some big news? I just scored some 2-ply.”

He continues: “But wait, I have bigger news. Hold on, let me get Bobby on the phone, we can all tell you together.

I can’t wait to mop the floor with your cute little buns.

“Bobby, hey! I wanted you to be here when we told everyone that the OG Queer Eyes are going to be taking on the new class on the season premiere of Celebrity Family Feud, Sunday May 31 on ABC!

“I can’t wait to mop the floor with your cute little buns.”

The teams will be raising funds for LGBT+ charities of their choice.

“Oh honey, that’s really cute that you think you’re going to win,” Berk replies. “But we surveyed 100 people and they all think we’re gonna win.”

Kressley will lead the original Queer Eye team while Berk will lead the Netflix team in the charity fundraiser.

The original Fab Five will be raising funds for The Trevor Project while the new crew will be raising money for GLSEN.

While the promotional teaser was filmed in coronavirus lockdown, press photos reveal that the episode was actually filmed in studio before the pandemic began.
