The Last of Us star, the internet’s Daddy and fierce ally Pedro Pascal has celebrated his 50th birthday with a t-shirt in support of trans people everywhere – and an appearance by Honey Dijon.
As if Pedro Pascal couldn’t get any more ‘Zaddy’, the Mandalorian and Fantastic Four: First Steps star has continued his fierce trans allyship by celebrating his fiftieth birthday with a guest appearance by legendary trans DJ Honey Dijon – and a t-shirt that reads “protect the dolls”.
Pascal turned 50 on 2 April, but held a bash attended by Dijon, Russell Tovey, Dino Fetscher and more on 6 April.
In a picture posted to Pascal’s Instagram Story, he and Dijon can be seen at the party, both wearing hats in support of the latter – and the actor’s shirt on full display.
Referring to trans women as “the dolls” or “dolls” is considered trans slang, particularly as an in-group term used to refer to trans-feminine people. It originated in Black and Latinx underground Ball culture.
The t-shirt was designed by fashion designer Connor Ives, who debuted it during the close of his London Fashion Week show this year.

Screenshots of the Story have made it to X (formerly Twitter), where they have been met with a wave of appreciation and birthday wishes for the actor.
“He[‘s] so real,” one fan wrote, while another added, “OBSESSED W THIS????”
“This is such a slay,” another commented – with many more clamoring for their own ‘Protect the Dolls’ t-shirt, which is is available here.
Pedro Pascal has a long track record of vocal trans allyship, not least in reference to his sister and actress, Lux.
In a video from Pascal’s party captioned “Happy Birthday Daddy P,” on influencer Jacob Seickell‘s Instagram Story, Lux can be seen sat atop Pascal’s shoulders, having a good old boogie.

In November, Pascal was seen fixing Lux’s dress when the pair attended the Gladiator II premiere together, and the actor has continued to post and re-post messages of support for the queer and trans community.
The 50-year-old will next be seen in the second season of HBO’s The Last of Us as apocalypse survivor Joel Miller, opposite Bella Ramsey.
