Girlband Remember Monday, who will represent the UK with their banger “What The Hell Just Happened?” at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, attended the opening ceremony in pink, white and blue – the colours of the trans flag.
The trio, consisting of Charlotte Steele, Lauren Byrne and Holly-Anne Hull attended the turquoise carpet for Eurovision’s opening ceremony in Basel, Switzerland, 11 May alongside acts from around the world.
And aside from looking flawless, fans are convinced that Remember Monday’s outfits were a subtle nod to the colours of the trans flag, with Steel in all white, Hull in baby pink and Byrne in pastel blue and white.
Pics of the trio were also posted to the band’s X profile with a white, pink and blue heart.
Although it has not been confirmed by Remember Monday that the looks were an explicit nod of support to the trans community, fans have nevertheless been commending the trio for their looks.

“Trans allyship at the Eurovision Song Contest…” one wrote.
“I don’t think the fact the ladies are wearing blue, pink and white is insignificant” another added, while a third joked, “Not saying ‘mother’ for an entire minute – challenge”.
“Actually so proud of them using their platform this way during this scary time in the UK,” another said, referencing the recent UK Supreme Court decision on 16 April which argued the term “sex” in the 2010 Equality Act refers to “biological sex” and thus excludes trans people.

PinkNews also spoke to the girls of Remember Monday about their “Regal British” looks on the carpet with their custom outfits by Agro Studios.
They showed of the Aston print from their outfits, similar in colour and design to their stage looks, which features the four national flowers of the UK – the rose, the thistle, the daffodil, and the flax.
“We really, really hope that our performance feels like a Remember Monday show. We want it to feel like we’ve taken over the place,” said Hull.

Hosted by Hazel Brugger, Michelle Hunziker, and Sandra Studer, the live shows will see every country perform though as per usual, the Big Five – the UK, Spain, France, Italy, and Germany – as well as the hosts, Switzerland, will automatically qualify for Saturday’s Grand-Final.
The live shows will be on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer on Tuesday 13, Thursday 15, and Saturday 17 May from 8pm in the UK.
