Drag Race star falls off stage and says footage deserves ‘an Emmy’

RuPaul’s Drag Race star Suzie Toot took tumble during a recent performance and believes the footage “deserves an emmy.” Sadly, the 2025 Emmy nominations came out yesterday prior to Toot’s post, but there’s always next year!
Toot came to prominence globally on season 17 of Drag Race, where she finished in fifth place. But Toot returned for the Lip Sync LaLaPaRuZa Smackdown, winning the Queen of She Done Already Done Had Herses title.
In video footage shared by Toot herself on X on Tuesday (15 July) the drag queen can be seen performing on stage. When goes to collect tips from cheering audience members, however, she misses a step and plummets to the ground.
But ever the professional, Toot is back on her feet in no time and resumes her number. What makes the funny particularly funny is the use of a popular bit of audio from a viral Jet2holidays advert. The audio has been used widely over the last few weeks over footage of people having bad holiday experiences or bad but comical moments in general.

During her time on Drag Race, Toot broke a record for the show by lasting 13 episodes without landing in the bottom. However, the Florida-based queen was eliminated the week after breaking the record. But she left the season with two maxi-challenge wins and two mini-challenge wins.
Toot’s time on the show was also not without drama (though it’s Drag Race so the drama is expected). After her elimination, Acacia Forgot described Toot “arrogant” with the two clashing over the role of Kansas Dorothy in “The Wicked Wiz of Oz” Rusical.
Toot’s self assuredness also caused some friction with her fellow competitors as well as other Drag Race girls and fans. All Stars 4 winner Trinity The Tuck said that “I just am not vibing with this like, ‘better than thou’ attitude.”
Tuck went on to say Toot was “so gross and immature.” She also added, “If you are that girl, you do not have to say you are that girl.” Toot later shared that she responded by sending Trinity her merch.
