Beyoncé fans think she’s dropping her as-yet-untitled ‘Act III’ project on this date in September – and it’s all because of her latest advert for Levi’s Jeans.
The Cowboy Carter Tour may have only just finished, but say it with us: The devil works hard, Kris Jenner works harder, RuPaul works hardest – but Beyoncé runs the company.
By that we of course mean that now the Beyhive is all yeehawed out, speculation has turned to when Queen Bey will be dropping the highly anticipate third instalment of her ‘three act project‘.
Renaissance, a glorious tribute to house music, dropped in 2022, with the country record Cowboy Carter following in 2024 (and winning Beyoncé’s first Album of the Year Grammy Award).
And thanks to Beyoncé’s latest advert for Levi’s Jeans – “The Denim Cowboy” – fans think they’ve sussed when that mystery third album might be hitting our ears.
Eagle-eyed members of the Beyhive have noticed that third segment of the advert, subtitled “The Smoke”, is accompanied by the time stamp of “9:04pm”, which looks suspiciously similar to the American date format of 09/04 – September 4.
At the end of the segment, Beyoncé mounts a motorcycle (!) and rides off into the night. The choice of steed is symbolic, as many fans think the rumoured ‘Rock and roll’-themed Act III will see Queen Bey mount a motorcycle rather than a horse, as on Renaissance or Cowboy Carter.
There’s also the matter that 4 September just so happened to be Beyoncé’s birthday…
Now this could mean nothing. But it’s Beyoncé. And nothing means nothing.

Fans previously thought that the stage design for her Cowboy Carter Tour ‘foreshadowed’ the rock and roll theme of Act III, with Beyoncé’s performance space looking much like an electric guitar.
That particular theory holds more credence, as Renaissance‘s tour’s stage design was shaped like a banjo – i.e. very country-esque.
Photos of merchandise from the Cowboy Carter Tour also seemed to reference the tour as “2/3”, meaning there’s one more tour to go.
All of this accompanies Beyoncé’s apparent obsession with Betty Davis, a Black rock singer famous for her sexually oriented lyrics and performance style.
Beyoncé posted a tribute to Davis in November last year, dressed as the legendary singer and captioned, “Betty Davis in my bones”. While also a reference to Cowboy Carter track “BODYGUARD,” fans saw the homage as yet another hint for what Act III could hold.
Basically, it’s not “if” Beyoncé announces that Act III will be a bona fide rock and roll extravaganza – it’s “when”. And the “when” might be 4 September. Maybe…
