Trixie and Katya would do RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars – on one, huge, condition

RuPaul’s Drag Race legends Trixie Mattel and Katya have both returned to the Werk Room once – but there’s one way they would go back for round three.
RuPaul’s Drag Race season seven stars Trixie Mattel and Katya (full drag name Zamolodchikova) have both done more than their fair share of time in the fake-pink-bricked Werk Room.
Both became fan favourites on the 2015 season (though neither made the final), but made their separate rudemptions on All Stars 2, where Katya made the final, and All Stars 3, where Trixie snatched the crown.
And as is such in the world of Drag Race, that queens can now return for three (and four) times, fans have been disappointed in the pair’s reticence to return. But it turns out there’s one very specific set of circumstances that would change that…
In a voicenote from ‘Shakesqueer’ challenge producer Todd Masterson on The Bald and the Beautiful podcast as part of a season seven RuPaul’s Drag Race recap, Masterson joked: “My pitch for the next All Stars reboot is to bring back just the entire cast [of seven] and just do another season with you guys.”
And though he may have been joking, Trixie immediately responded: “I would do it in a heartbeat! I would do that so fast!”
Katya added: “I abso-f**king-lutely would! Mama, excuse me. Hold on a second.”
The All Stars 2 finalist continued: “If I could get three months more preparation than everybody else and also $100,000 more than everybody else, mama, I’d walk into that Werk Room insufferable.”
Trixie then continued: “Can I be honest? I would do it for not even that much money. Actually just season seven, and I want the same challenges again. I want to do it again like an obstacle course… We should just do it like a play.”
Listen, we know, it’s not exactly a burning admission that Trixie wants to be on the next All Winners, or that Katya has suddenly reneged on her vehement hatred of the idea of returning for another All Stars – but we’ll take it.
For anyone already suffering withdrawals after All Stars 10 crowned a winner, never fear; Drag Race UK vs. the World‘s third season is on the way, the first teaser for Drag Race UK season seven just dropped and Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale recently confirmed its first ever cast.
And the All Stars 11 cast is already kicking about…
The RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 10 grand finale is streaming now on Paramount+ in the US and WOW Presents Plus internationally.
