Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause, who is in a relationship with non-binary musician G Flip, has said she is “done” with the hit Netflix show, casting doubt on whether she will be back for another season.
The ninth series of the reality show, which follows staff at high-end real estate firm the Oppenheim Group in Los Angeles, dropped on Netflix on 29 October.
In an interview with Variety – published ahead of the “brutal” reunion show on Wednesday (5 November) – 44-year-old Stause suggested she has no plans to return to filming.
Stause said while she “liked this season” and did not “think I had a hard season”, she is “excited to move on from this chapter”, explaining: “The reunion was so brutal. In that moment, I realised I will be done here going forward. I wish everyone the best, but this isn’t the place for me. It felt a little bit like a dog pile.”
“It felt like I was in a good place with everyone — I felt happy and strong about the real estate aspect,” Stause said of how she felt going into the season.
“This tends to happen with this show. When you think you’re going to have a pretty easy season, without fail, those are the ones that end up being the hardest.
“It’s just the way it culminates with the reunion, and how everything landed.
“It’s interesting that I went into the season thinking everything was going to be easy. Never say those famous last words.”

During the ninth season, issues between Stause and friend Emma Hernan played out on screen after Hernan started dating Blake Davis, who Stause took issues with for his allegedly problematic views on trans issues.
Stause wed Australian singer G Flip in 2022, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns.
“When I met him, there were so many red flags that happened in one short meeting. Sometimes you meet someone and you may not like the way they dress, or they may rub you the wrong way because they’re a little awkward. I found real things to be dangerous with his personality,” Stause said of Davis.
“That’s my partner, whom I love dearly,” she continued. “It goes so much more than what you’re able to see on a show that they’re trying as hard as they can to keep light and upbeat. I get stuck between a rock and a hard place trying to give context without also taking us to a dark place that I was unfortunately dealing with.”
Stause said later in the interview: “We were best friends — me, [Emma] and Chelsea, who she also doesn’t speak to anymore. It’s a sad situation,” adding: “At this point, they deserve each other. I wish them the best.”
Stause confirmed her friendship with Hernan is over because of her relationship with Davis, saying: “She’s made it very clear what her morals are, and we do not align.”
A tenth season of Selling Sunset is yet to be announced.
