Queer football icon Alex Scott is heading to the jungle for I’m a Celeb Get Me Out of Here 2025

With the countdown to I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2025 is underway, it’s been confirmed that queer football icon Alex Scott is in the lineup.

Scott is one of the celebrity contestants who will be joining join Ant and Dec in the Australian jungle for the 2025 edition, and there are some very exciting names joining her.

A week ahead of the ITV series launching, Former Arsenal and Lioness player Alex Scott has been confirmed as one of the contestants.

Scott, who retired from football in 2017, now hosts Football Focus. The queer football star is in a relationship with singer Jess Glynne.

According to The Sun, a source close to Scott noted she was keen to be part of I’m a Celeb’s lineup. A significant reason for her decision was to show the public a different side of herself.

They allegedly said: “Alex loves pushing herself out of her comfort zone, and where better to do it than the jungle?”

“The public know her as a sportswoman and a serious broadcaster so she thinks she can show people a side to her that they’ve never seen before.

“Alex is game for anything and is a tough cookie so she’s ready for anything that gets thrown at her — literally.”

Also joining Alex Scott in the jungle are Ozzy Osbourne’s son Jack Osbourne, documentarian Ruby Wax and model Kelly Brook.

Celebs Go Dating client co-ordinator Tom Read Wilson, Irish model Vogue Williams and comedian Eddie Kadi will also appear.

Ex-EastEnders actors Martin Kemp (whose son Roman was on the show in 2019) and Shona McGarty, as well as Emmerdale star Lisa Riley, are heading to the jungle as well.

Furthermore, streamer Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, and rapper Aitch, whose real name is Harrison James Armstrong, are going to be appearing.
