British actor James McAvoy has rocked tight shorts in a clip that has the gays, and girls, obsessed.
The Split actor showed off his physique in a clip for 2025’s psychological thriller Pose.
Pose follows two couples who arrive at a “countryside mansion they unknowingly double booked”. During their stay, strange occurrences begin to unfold.
In the film, McAvoy plays protagonist Thomas. Audience reactions have been mixed so far, with one viewer calling it “boring as hell”, while another praised McAvoy’s performance as “sensational”.
‘I’m speechless’
Despite mixed opinions about the film, one thing is certain: McAvoy in tight shorts is a hit with everyone.
Viewers of the clip have united in expressing their appreciation for the actor’s physique in comments under the post.
“Gorgeous daddy,” one person responded, while another joked that the plot of the film is simply McAvoy in his shorts.
Another comment read: “D-d-addy.”
“Oh this man. I’m speechless,” one comment read, while others agreed that they found him highly attractive in the clip.
McAvoy is part of the cast for audiobook series, Harry Potter: The Full-Cast Audio Editions. In the series he lends his voice to Mad-Eye Moody.
The project has received widespread backlash, due to JK Rowling’s ‘gender-critical’ views about transgender people.
Michelle Gomez, who is playing Professor McGonagal, has responded to the backlash.
“I hear you, and I understand why this is painful for many,” Gomez said on Instagram. “I want to be clear that I stand with trans people, and I support trans rights – fully and without hesitation.”
In June, comedian Stephen Fry turned on his pal JK Rowling, claiming she had been “radicalised”.
The gay author and actor, who narrated the audiobooks for all seven Harry Potter titles, sparked controversy in 2022 when he failed to condemn her beliefs about trans people, despite saying his transgender friends had been left “deeply upset” by her views.
But during a live recording of The Show People podcast at London bar the Two Brewers last week, he criticised the author and gender-critical activist.
