Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC) star Heather Dubrow has addressed rumours claiming her husband, Terry, is gay.
Amid rumours circulating that Heather could be leaving the RHOC, which the reality TV star is yet to address, the wife of plastic surgeon and Botched doctor Terry has denied claims he’s gay.
Heather, 56, and Terry, 67, married in 1999 and have four children: daughter Max, who is bisexual, her twin brother Nick, lesbian daughter Kat, and Ace, who is trans.
During an appearance on iHeartRadio’s “Between Us” podcast on Wednesday (17 December) Heather set the record straight.
She questioned: “It’s just so stupid … Why would we hide that? Why would we live a lie like that? It would be the most hypocritical, and what would we be showing our kids?”
‘If I were gay, I’d be really happy about it’
Terry also weighed in on the rumour, saying: “First of all, if I’m gay in this long-term relationship, please feel bad for me because I’m not living my true life. I’m having a life of dissatisfaction.”
He continued: “If I were gay, I’d be really happy about it. By the way, I would be a lot wealthier because I would have married a guy who was very, very successful right away, and we don’t spend money the way women spend money.”
Heather previously called rumours about Terry being unfaithful “obnoxious” and not true.
The pair have also been open about raising queer children. In an interview with E! News, Terry said he believed they were “chosen” to raise a “rainbow of kids”.
“If we can change hearts and minds by showing how our version of a normal, supportive family can be, we’re in.”
