The internet is absolutely smitten over a viral clip of an intersex rabbit.
Instagram user and rabbit fosterer Moore shared a clip of their latest rescue, Toast, which explained that she had both “boy and girl parts.”
Moore explained in the clip that they originally believed Toast was a boy and took her to the vet to get spayed, but were told she was “actually a girl.”

After telling the vet to go ahead with the operation, they were then told that Toast was “neither a boy or a girl”.
“She has girl parts on the outside but little shrunken boy parts on the inside that don’t work,” Moore said. “So we call her a girl now.”
The clip has quickly gone viral with over 30,000 likes and 604 comments from users absolutely smitten for Toast.
“She is such a pretty colour,” one user said. Another wrote: “Matters not, as long as you love her.”
Several bunny owners shared their own experiences with discovering their pets were intersex.
One user explained that their pet bunny had “the vets completely confused” over whether they were male or female, later discovering during surgery that “she didn’t have any sex related parts”.
“Her behaviour corresponded more with female rabbit behaviour, so we called her a girl,” they added.
