Rarely a day goes by when there isn’t a rumour that some celebrity or other has come out, but Finn Wolfhard fans think they’ve just found proof he is bisexual.
The Stranger Things star, whose character was one half of fan-ship Byler, alongside Noah Schnapp, who did actually come out as gay, has released his second album, Fire From The Hip.
Fans think the song ‘Oscilloscope’ is his way of coming out as bisexual. They took notice after he spoke about it in an interview with Far Out Magazine.
He said: “There’s one track called ‘Oscilloscope’. I would have never have done that on the first album.”
In context, he’s talking about the production of the song, however fans took notice, sharing the words on X, and believe they have found a clue in its lyrics.
The lyrics of the one minute, 28 seconds song reference “a pretty guy” and “a pretty girl”.

Fans have taken the lyrics and run with them, with one saying: “So Finn came out as bi with this song basically. I’m so f****** proud of him.” Another said: “His seventh time trying to let people know he’s bi, hopefully people will get it now.”
A third wrote: “Bisexual Finn Wolfhard confirmed in a random Thursday was not on my bingo card.” As another added: “Finn Wolfhard is bisexual and life is worth living.”
Of course, Wolfhard has never commented on his sexuality, and other fans have been left frustrated by others jumping to conclusions.
One said: “Honestly it’s gotta suck for Finn because he’s just trying to share his music with us and people are picking the lyrics apart for clues about his sexuality. Everyone’s talking about him being bisexual but no one’s saying anything about the actual music.”
Another added: “Seriously they only care about his sexuality, it’s fetishisation, no normal person obsesses over other people’s sexualities. It’s weird and disrespectful all around.”
Well said.
Finn Wolfhard’s new album Fire From The Hip is out now.
