Charley Marlowe, narrator of I Kissed A Girl, has shared a tearful video from her final voiceover session, as the BBC show comes to an end.
Marlowe was the voiceover for both seasons of I Kissed A Girl, while Layton Williams lent his voice to I Kissed A Boy, in 2023 and 2025.
The BBC confirmed in March that the I Kissed franchise had been axed due to budget cuts, leading to devastation among the queer community – and host Dannii Minogue, who emphasised the importance of having a show like this on television.
I Kissed A Girl season two sadly came to an end this week, with just two couples sealing their romances at the final kiss-off, and one of those staying together after filming.

To say goodbye to the show, Marlowe shared a video of her in the sound booth recording her sign-off for the final episode.
Overcome with emotion, at one point she had to stop recording as she let her tears flow.
“F*** me, I’m going,” she said, wiping her eyes as she laughed.
Marlowe wrote in the caption: “And that’s the end of I Kissed A Girl… for now!
“Being apart of this liberating, frabjous and completely joyous family has genuinely been the biggest highlight of not only my career, but my life. Queer representation in this form had quite literally never been done before and it means so much to so many people.
“The divas would often say ‘you cannot be what you cannot see’ and I can’t stress how much that rings true. I promise to always be the representation I longed for when I was younger. The want and need for shows just like IKAG is there in its plenty, this will not be the end.
“I just feel so so proud and honoured, but this is just the beginning. Thank you @twofourtv and @bbcthree for taking a chance on me, I will be forever grateful. And to my fellow ICONS, I will forever love and fangirl over you.”
Layton Williams says goodbye

Actor and Strictly star Layton Williams also shared his own goodbye to the show, as he was involved in the final episode, which took a look back at all four seasons in the I Kissed series.
In his own video, Williams had to take a moment, as he said: “It’s really hard to do when you’re, like, close to tears. You don’t want to sound sad.”
He wiped his eyes as he then said his final words.
In the caption, he wrote: “Ciao for now boys (& girls). End of an era, but we did that! Big love to @twofourtv!”
