Pillion star Alexander Skarsgård is no stranger to outlandish red-carpet looks, and at the Wicker premiere, he freed his toes.
The 50-year-old Swedish actor was the talk of the London Film Festival when he stepped out with his feet on full display.
Skarsgård walked the carpet in a metallic gold Saint Laurent suit, with nothing underneath.
The gold look certainly drew eyes, but it was his see-through footwear that got people talking.
The actor wore transparent polyvinyl shoes that left his feet fully visible. The elongated-toed shoes had black soles and matching laces.

The shoes are part of Saint Laurent’s Spring/Summer 2027 menswear collection titled O.Fan, a nod to a certain online platform.
The collection is defined by an unconventional, see-through visual which comments on modern bodies and sexuality.
Say what you want about the footwear choice, but you can never criticise Skarsgård for not taking fashion risks.
Previously, Skarsgård has stepped out in a variety of bold looks, from a halter-top and leather trousers to a dildo-adorned shirt.
Is Alexander Skarsgård gay?
Skarsgård has played a number of queer roles in the past, which has led to questions about the actor’s sexuality.
Last year, at the Zurich Film Festival, when discussing getting into character or Pillion, the actor said his background is “not really relevant.”
He went on to explain: “What I’ve done in the past, who I’ve been with, men, women… To me, what was important was that this felt like an opportunity to tell a story about a subculture I hadn’t seen portrayed this way – with so much authenticity.”
His comment left many believing he had come out as queer or bisexual.

However, Skarsgård clarified his comments in January. Speaking to Variety, Skarsgård was seemingly taken about the reaction to his comments.
He said: “Oh. That it resonated with my past? It was definitely not an intended statement. I don’t know what I was talking about.”
He then explained that he was trying to remove himself and his own personal experiences from the movie.
“Maybe it has to do with – there’s a lot of focus sometimes on me as an actor. Maybe it was trying to shift the focus more to the story and these characters. And the importance of telling the story like this.”
Wicker premiered at the 2026 London Film Festival and is out in UK cinemas on 30 October.
