Jonathan Ross: I’m developing a UK version of RuPaul’s Drag Race

Jonathan Ross has said he is helping to develop a British version of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
The veteran host and presenter told the Daily Star that he’s been involved in developing an adaptation of the drag competition for some time.
He said: “I’ve been working with [drag artist and DJ Jodie Harsh] on a UK version of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Unfortunately we have had to take a break because of some family issues.
“But we’re hoping to pick it up again in the near future. I am definitely serving middle-aged-realness!”
The ITV star also revealed he has been a long-time fan of drag performers, including London-based drag queen Meth.
He said: “I love drag and I love Meth – the performer – as well as Betty Bottom Dollar.
“I am a huge fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race, I think it’s a fabulous art.”
