Jimmy Fallon has unveiled a star-studded Queen cover, to mark the Super Bowl.

The US Tonight Show host unveiled the cover of ‘We Are The Champions’, after the New England Patriots stormed to victory in the game.

The cover features a number of big names – including Fallon, Sam Smith, One Direction, country singer Carrie Underwood, Usher, Christina Aguilera  and hip hop band The Roots.

Legendary Queen frontman Freddie Mercury died of AIDS-related pneumonia in 1991.

Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor are currently touring the world with former American Idol star Adam Lambert.

He said last month: “There’s never going to be another (Freddie), and I’m not replacing him.

“That’s not what I’m doing. I’m trying to keep the memory alive, and remind people how amazing he was, without imitating him.

“I’m trying to share with the audience how much he inspired me.”

Lady Gaga joined the band for a one-off surprise performance in Australia last year, wearing a dark frizzy wig reminiscent of a younger Brian May.
