Hillary Clinton unveils rainbow campaign logo ahead of Supreme Court case
Hillary Clinton has re-branded her campaign logo as a pride flag, as the Supreme Court begins hearing arguments in an equal marriage case.
The highest court in the US will today begin hearing oral arguments in a ground-breaking case concerning marriage bans ā that could decisively bring equal marriage to all 50 states.
As the court readies for the two and a half hours of argument to the case ā with a tightly-controlled time limit for arguments from each state, as well as lawyers representing 12 same-sex couples and two widowers ā Mrs Clinton voiced her backing.
The former Secretary of State ā who announced her run for President earlier this month ā rebranded her āarrowā logo on her official social media page.
The arrow, that was originally red and blue, is now coloured in the colours of a pride flag.
In a video launching her Presidential campaign last week, the Democratic hopeful featured a range of Americans discussing their plans for the future, including Jared Milrad and his partner who spoke about their plans to marry.
The video also briefly featured a lesbian couple ā who later revealed theyād had āno ideaā what the footage would be used for.
Ms Clinton has already won the endorsement of LGBT rights group Equality California ā over a year before the election, and before most candidates have even been announced.
