Sir Elton has accused Janet Jackson of lip-syncing during her world tour.

Elton John has told fellow pop star Janet Jackson to ā€œfuck offā€ ā€“ before accusing her of lip-syncing during her live shows.

During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the outspoken veteran expressed his confusion as to why her concerts receive so much praise from the media.

ā€œYou know, fucking music magazines writing a review of Janet Jackson saying, ā€˜This is the greatest show ā€“ four and a half stars.ā€™

ā€œItā€™s fucking lip-synced! Hello! Thatā€™s not a show! Iā€™d rather go and see a drag queen. Fuck off,ā€ he said.

This isnā€™t the first time the singer has lashed out at a fellow musician.

Sir Elton ā€“ whoā€™s currently promoting his latest album Wonderful Crazy Night ā€“ made similar accusations about Madonna back in 2003, something which he later apologised for.

ā€œI say what I feel. I probably went too far with Madonna, and I got very personal and I wrote to her ā€“ she was very gracious.ā€

John also recently revealed a 40-year feud with late superstar David Bowie.

The Rocket Man singer said the pair had become friends early on, but that they had ā€œdrifter apartā€.

Noting apparent comments by Bowie that he was ā€œrockā€™nā€™rollā€™s token queenā€, Sir Elton said he thought Bowie was ā€œa bit snootyā€.

ā€œDavid and I were not the best of friends towards the end,ā€ he said.

ā€œWe started out being really good friends. We used to hang out together with Marc Bolan, going to gay clubs, but I think we just drifted apart.

ā€œHe once called me ā€˜rockā€™nā€™rollā€™s token queenā€™ in an interview with Rolling Stone, which I thought was a bit snooty.ā€

However, despite their apparent falling out, Sir Elton commended Bowie for the ā€œdignifiedā€ way he handled his death.
