A lawsuit has been filed against a Minnesota high school which claims that a transgender student “twerked to Milkshake by Kelis” in a locker room and made sexually suggestive comments.

The lawsuit, filed by Alliance Defending Freedom on behalf of almost a dozen families, uses the alleged behaviour of one student to attack Virginia Public Schools for a trans-inclusive policy.

As well as Independent School District Number 706, the lawsuit also names US Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Secretary of Education John King Jr.

It misgenders a trans female student, and claims that students are being “forced” to “use private facilities… with students of the opposite sex.”

The School District had moved to accommodate transgender students after the Obama Administration advised every public school in America to do so, or potentially lose federal funding.

“No government agency should hold hostage important education funding to advance an unlawful agenda,” the lawsuit states.

“No school district should trade its students’ constitutional and statutory rights for dollars and cents, especially when it means abandoning a common sense practice that long protected every student’s privacy and access to education.”

It also declares that a transgender teenager, only identified as ‘Student X’ had “left some girls in tears”, by being “sexually suggestive”.

According to a report from Fox News’ Todd Starnes, who describes the behaviour as “scurrilous”, Student X, who is misgendered throughout “commented on girls’ bodies while in the girls’ locker room, including asking Girl Plaintiff F about her bra size and asking her to “trade body parts” with him.”

“Student X danced to loud music with sexually explicit lyrics while twerking, grinding and lifting up his skirt to reveal his underwear… Student X would dance in a sexually explicit manner “dancing like he was on a stripper pole” to songs with suggestive lyrics including “Milkshake” by Kelis.”

Girls who were “uncomfortable” with sharing a locker room with the trans student were given the option of a second locker room.

But the lawsuit accuses Student X of following other students to the secondary locker room and “removing his pants” in front of other students.

An attorney for the Alliance Defending Freedom Matt Sharp said the school had been “unsympathetic”.

“This is showing what we have been warning for months now. When you strip away student privacy, there’s going to be consequences for that,” he tells Fox News
