Jesus turned up at a pride march and told anti-gay Christians where they’re going wrong
A man dressed as Jesus turned up at a pride march ā and Christian protesters werenāt happy.
Tens of thousands of people turned out for Pride in Seoul, South Korea on Sunday.
An estimated 85,000 people joined in the celebrations which took place in the capital city, making it the biggest Pride parade to be held in the city yet.
Christian protesters lined the streets alongside the event, keen to highlight their opposition.
They stood under a large banner that read āHomosexuality is sin! Return to Jesus!ā
Pastor Hong Ho-soo, the secretary general of the Homosexuality Countermeasure Council for Korean Churches said: āWe do not want them to showcase homosexuality in public, which can corrupt the minds of our children.ā
He added that he felt it was fine for LGBT people to ācelebrate whatever you are at homeā but just ānot in front of othersā.
However, they got quite the surprise when Jesus walked in front of their eyes.
And thereās good news for LGBT people ā itās all good.
The pride marcher dressed as Jesus stood with a sign that read āIām cool with itā in capital letters.
Many fellow pride marchers loved the pro-LGBT Jesus.
The event has steadily grown in popularity since it was first held in 2000.
Itās believed that there were 50,000 attendees last year.
Ralliers were met with protests staged by a few thousand conservative Christians.
As well as singing hymns at the Pride marchers, the protesters also held group prayers.
6,000 police officers were at the Parade to protect the marchers.
