Homophobic Senate candidate Roy Moore blames LGBT people for sexual assault allegations

Roy Moore thinks LGBT people are responsible for the multiple sexual assault allegations made against him.
The most homophobic Senate candidate in recent history has been accused by nine women of sexual misconduct, including child molestation.
Most of the women were teenagers at the time that Moore, the Republican candidate to represent Alabama in the US Senate, allegedly sexually assaulted them.

Leigh Corfman was 14 when Moore, a 32-year-old assistant district attorney at the time, allegedly stripped the child and touched her over her bra and underpants.
He was allegedly banned from his local mall in Alabama because of his behaviour towards teenage girls there.

Despite the flood of accusations, Moore – who “doesn’t know” if gay people should be executed – has stayed in the race.
And last night at Magnolia Springs Baptist Church in Theodore, Alabama, the 70-year-old targeted LGBT people in a far-ranging attack riddled with paranoia.

Reading off yellow legal paper despite being a disgraced former judge, Moore said the claims were part of a conspiracy concocted by a mysterious “they”.
“When I say ‘they,’ who are ‘they’?” he asked the congregation.
