Gay porn star and Trump supporter claims not being able to have sex on camera is ‘literally killing people’
Gay porn star and Trump supporter Sergeant Miles has claimed in a bizarre rant that coronavirus restrictions are causing people in his industry to die.
Miles, a porn performer, director and producer, lashed out at restrictions in the United States and decried the fact that he can’t shoot porn currently.
He shared a video on Twitter which claims to show riots in Venezuela and lamented the shutdown of the US economy.
“Lift this ban and let us work,” he wrote.
“You’re literally killing us.”
More than 200,000 people have died from coronavirus, but Sergeant Miles wants to continue shooting porn.
Miles tagged the Adult Performers Guild in the tweet, and the group reminded him that all sex workers are prohibited from working while the pandemic continues.
“Performers, producers, directors and crew members’ health and safety is more important,” they added.
Miles lashed out at the guild in a follow-up tweet, where – without even a hint of irony – he claimed the restrictions are killing people.
“Your moratorium is causing people to die there [sic] blood on your hands and the government [sic] hands. I hope you can sleep knowing what you’re doing.”
Performers, producers, directors and crew members’ health and safety is more important.
The guild replied and reminded Miles that they are only following stay at home orders and said his anger is “misdirected”.
When another Twitter user suggested Miles file for unemployment benefits, he replied: “I don’t want to live off the government I also want to go to state parks and live my life like I want like an American.”
Another Twitter user suggested Miles is “clueless”, and the porn star replied: “You’re clueless this virus is no more dangerous than the flu.”
Yes, COVID-19 is more lethal than the flu.
More than 228,000 people have now died worldwide from the virus, and there are more than 3 million confirmed cases globally.
Despite Miles’ claims, COVID-19 is thought to be significantly more lethal than the seasonal flu. It is thought to be the worst pandemic since 1918.
While there are very valid concerns about poverty, homelessness and mental health issues as a result of the pandemic, it is also widely accepted that physical distancing is vital to stem the spread of the virus.
This is not the first time the porn performer has faced backlash within his industry. In a horrific 2018 tweet, he suggested that survivors of the Parkland school shooting were cowardly for not taking the gunman on.
He has also been open about his support for Donald Trump, drawing backlash from others in the industry.
