Calvin Klein releases its Pride Month 2022 collection featuring rainbow underwear

Calvin Klein's campaign for Pride Month is 'This is Love'.

Calvin Klein has released its Pride Month 2022 collection – and it includes a jockstrap, of course.

Ahead of June, the brand has debuted its latest campaign entitled ‘This Is Love’, which celebrates families in the LGBTQ+ community.

It features apparel pieces modelled by the likes of the legendary John Waters and musician Snail Mail in the campaign.

This includes t-shirts with the brand’s Pride Month slogan alongside the iconic CK logo, socks, swim shorts, lounge shorts and a gender neutral transparent skirt.

The prices of the collection range from £9 to £140 and it’s now available to shop at calvinklein.co.uk and calvinklein.us.

Two of the stars tweeted about appearing in the Calvin Klein campaign, saying: “I’m so proud and honored that we had the opportunity to do this together! Not only to celebrate pride but also celebrating our bodies.”

Their partner added: “Hopefully this will inspire future queer and fat generations to be unapologetic and to be free!”.

It wouldn’t be a Calvin Klein Pride collection without some limited edition underwear pieces.

This year it features trunks, bralettes, jockstraps, thongs, bikini briefs and more in colours that are inspired by the Progress Pride flag.

They’re available in Black for Beauty; Brown for Power; Pink for Sex; Orange for Healing; Yellow for Sunlight; Tan for Harmony; White for Nonbinary; Turquoise for Magic; and Blue for Serenity.

These hues are woven together in the Reimagined Heritage Underwear range “to symbolize the intersectionality of sexualities, gender identities and sex characteristics”.

The brand has also confirmed that it has raised $400,000 this year to support organisations fighting for LGBTQ+ people.

In addition to the This Is Love campaign, the label will continue its partnership with PFLAG National and Transgender Law Center to support LGBTQ+ education, inclusion and justice.

Plus Calvin Klein Australia is working with BlaQ Aboriginal Corporation to support the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTQ+ community.
