Just May has hit out at haters who insulted her look during the final runway of the fourth series of Drag Race UK (24 November).

During the episode, which saw the final four – Danny Beard, Cheddar Gorgeous, Black Peppa and Jonbers Blonde – battle it out in a RuPaul megamix, the eliminated queens also got to stomp the runway one last time.

As the Porkchop (first eliminated) queen of the season, Just May emerged first in a gorgeous floor length, sequin blue gown and signature red and blonde Geri Halliwell-esque hair.

While most fans reacted positively, a few haters were negative enough to elicit a reaction from the sixth Spice Girl herself:

“You all need to get f**ked.” she wrote, before listing some of the comments she’d received:

“‘Michelle’s face when she walked out’ ‘it was so [ill] fitted’ ‘she only does one face'”.

Effortlessly clapping back, Just May continued by saying that when those people “get behind the panel, [then] they get to judge [her].”

“Until then, just keep your opinions to yourself, you really know how to spoil a beautiful end to something.”

She then posted a picture of the look with the caption: “For the record, I loved my look. I thought I look beautiful” before a second picture of her exit, complete with a two-finger salute and a “Get f****d” caption.

Fans have been quick to jump to Just May’s defence.

“You looked bloody gorgeous. Period” wrote one.

Another added: “You looked stun, people just want someone to criticize & hate for the drama – keep doing you”

“But May???? You ATE!” a third commented.

Photographer Matty Parks, who shot all of Just May’s (and Starlet’s) runway looks, praised the queen further, writing: “Honestly, it’s been the best time and I couldn’t be more proud”, along with four pictures of each contestant.

Just May has previously spoken about the questionable politics of her icon and drag inspiration – Geri Halliwell, Ginger Spice.
