Right-wing pundit’s misgendering of Elon Musk’s trans daughter Vivian Wilson backfires spectacularly

A video of Elon Musk’s trans daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson has gone viral after being shared by right wing mouthpiece Oli London – but not for the reasons the latter might have hoped.

The video, which was originally posted by TMZ.com, features Vivian dancing at the premiere party for RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 10, with cast members Acid Betty and Daya Betty seen in the background, cheering the 21-year-old on as she struts down a catwalk and whips her hair around.

Gender-critical pundit Oli London, who is best known for having multiple surgeries in an effort to look South Korean before establishing himself as a right-wing commentator, then re-posted the video, misgendering Wilson in the process.

“Elon Musk’s estranged Transgender son Vivian Jenna Wilson shows off his feminine dance moves as he flips his hair in a club,” London wrote.

But there’s a problem with London’s desire to whip up hatred against Wilson – most people who have seen the video online have been suitably gagged by her dance moves, rather than offended by a trans person enjoying themself.

“My favourite billionaires daughter is too much of a bad b*tch, can anyone help with this?” one user wrote sarcastically above the video, referencing Wilson’s estranged anti-trans father, Elon Musk.

“‘Son’ and the most feminine beautiful woman on the screen,” another X user wrote of the video, with a third joking, “‘Him’ and it’s a magnitude 9 motherquake”.

“This is transphobe for ‘she served’,” another wrote.

Another added, “Oh vivian is serving so hard i love her.”

Vivian recently celebrated five years since coming out as trans, and is perhaps best known for dragging her father, Elon Musk, online.

Elon has previously claimed that his ‘son’ was “killed [by the] woke mind virus”, something which Vivian replied that she “looked pretty good for a dead b*tch” (in another Drag Race reference).

She previously slammed her father for performing a gesture similar to a Nazi salute at President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

“The Nazi salute sh*t was insane. Honey, we’re going to call a fig a fig, and we’re going to call a Nazi salute what it was. That sh*t was definitely a Nazi salute. The crowd is equally to blame, and I feel like people are not talking about that. That crowd should be denounced,” she said of Musk’s controversial gesture at Trump’s inauguration event, which the billionaire has repeatedly denied was a Nazi salute.
