Gigi Gorgeous to divorce from husband Nats Getty after six years of marriage

Transgender model, YouTuber and TV personality Gigi Gorgeous is to divorce from her husband Nats Getty after six years of marriage.
In a statement, representatives for Gorgeous and Getty confirmed that the pair have split “amicably”.
“Gigi Gorgeous and Nats Getty confirm they have amicably decided to part ways and officially file for divorce.
“While they have decided to end their marriage, they remain friends and have the [utmost] love and respect for each other.”
Gorgeous, 33, and Getty, 32, began dating back in 2016, before getting engaged in 2018 and married in California in 2019.
Court documents obtained by PEOPLE reveal that Getty filed for divorce at Los Angeles County Superior Court yesterday (2 July), with “irreconcilable differences” cited as the reason for the split.
Nats Getty, who is the founder of clothing brand Strike Oil and the nephew of Getty Images co-founder Mark Getty, came out as transgender non-binary back in 2021, sharing his experience of getting top surgery.
After Getty came out publicly with his gender identity, Gorgeous went on to reveal that she now identifies as pansexual.
Getty and Gorgeous previously opened up in 2023 about their desire to have children together via IVF.
In a post on Instagram in November 2023, Getty wrote that his IVF journey had been “gnarly” and “intense”.
“I’m so blessed to have access to this so my wife and I can have a child but my god it’s intense,” he wrote.
“I have done one round of multiple daily injections, medications, blood draws and ultrasounds (so fun)…. But in comparison my wife has spent the last year plus off hormones and living a completely foreign lifestyle to optimize our chances of creating an embryo.
“I guess I want to say how impressed and proud I am of her and us for this journey. I love you Gigi & thank you for giving us this opportunity to have kids. I am so blessed to be married to you.”
Last August, the duo celebrated five years of marriage, with Getty posting on Instagram: “Five years married… how did I get so lucky? Gladly be your photographer for the rest of my life babyyyy.”
