Jurassic World: Rebirth star Manuel Garcia-Rulfo has gushed over his co-star Jonathan Bailey being a “hot motherf**ker”.
The Lincoln Lawyer star Garcia-Rulfo, who is currently in a relationship with Audrey McGraw, shared his thoughts about Wicked‘s Bailey while appearing on the “Just for Variety” podcast.
Jurassic World: Rebirth is set in the present day, some five years after the last film in the franchise, 2022’s critically-panned Jurassic World: Dominion.
In the film, Garcia-Rulfo stars as Reuben Delgado, the father of a shipwrecked civilian family, while Bailey plays the bookish paleontologist Dr Henry Loomis.
‘I can see why everybody goes crazy with the guy’
The 44-year-old said of his co-star Bailey: “I can see why everybody goes crazy with the guy. He’s not just an incredible actor, but he’s a hot motherf**ker.”
Bailey, who recently appeared on Chicken Shop Date with Amelia Dimoldenberg, previously spoke out about the pressure he feels to be “excellent” as an out gay actor in a leading Hollywood role.
Ahead of the premiere of Jurassic World Rebirth, Bailey recognised that “being an out gay actor meant, historically, you wouldn’t be able to play straight and there weren’t any gay parts to play, anyway”.

In the first reviews for the film Bailey was praised as the “magic ingredient”. Writing in The Guardian, Peter Bradshaw praised the film for being “brighter, breezier, funnier, incomparably better acted and better written” than recent instalments in the Jurassic Park world.
Another four star review in The Independent suggested that Bailey is one of the “magic ingredients” thanks to his habitual charm.
Jurassic World Rebirth is now playing in cinemas.
