Gabby Windey, a winner of the US version of The Traitors, will captain a new dating show set on a luxury yacht.
Love Overboard will set sail on its maiden voyage next year, with the queer star at the helm. The show is the first reality series from producer Alex Cooper, the host of the Call Her Daddy podcast.
“Step aboard the ultimate luxury yacht, where sexy singles are ready to mix and mingle… and find love,” the show’s tagline reads. “But there’s a twist… gaining access to the extravagant amenities won’t be so simple.
“As the journey unfolds, romance ignites, alliances form and hearts are shattered. In the end, only one couple will reign supreme. Who will rise to the top and who will be left stranded?”
The news of Windey’s inclusion was revealed in a press release on Monday (14 July). She also shared a post which gave a few glimpses of what to expect.
Windey first entered the world of reality TV in 2021 when she appeared on season 26 of The Bachelor, finishing runner-up. She was a nurse in an intensive care unit during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Later, she finished second in season 31 of Dancing with the Stars. She then won the third season of The Traitors as a Faithful, appearing alongside gay nobility Lord Ivar Mountbatten.
Windey came out on The View in 2023, saying she had felt a “whisper” of being attracted to women over the past few years, that got “louder and louder”. She is married to TV writer and comedian Robby Hoffman.
Love Overboard is set to air on Hulu and Disney+ in 2026.
