9-1-1: Lone Star actor Rafael L Silva is keeping our thirsts quenched with his latest steamy photoshoot.
The 31-year-old actor, known for playing Carlos Reyes in the hit US medical drama, stripped down for the shoot with The Men Style Brasil.
Some image shows a topless Silva with a discarded tank top. Others see him in nothing but some very well-fitting white shorts with red piping. Silva is also seen in a shower and also with a soaked white t-shirt and jeans on.
With photography and styling by Dean Isidro, this is a shoot that’s got a lot of praise. “This shot goes hard,” wrote one fan on one Instagram post. “My oh my,” typed someone else while many other added varying heart and fire emojis.
“Guapismo absoluto,” someone wrote which translates as “Absolute handsomeness.” Another fan added, “omg I swear this man is one of the sexiest I’ve ever enjoyed looking at. I sure hope his man appreciates him.”
Sadly 9-1-1 Lone Star was cancelled last year meaning Silva’s journey as Carlos came to an end. Created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minnear, the series – which has aired on Fox since 2020 – followed the lives first responders living and working in Austin, Texas.
Carlos’ relationship with Tyler Kennedy “TK” Strand (Ronen Rubinstein) – ‘Tarlos’ – was lauded as part of the series’ LGBTQ+ representation.
Their storyline ended with TK quitting his job as an emergency medical technician to adopt and also care for his half brother, Jonah. The trio ended the series as one big happy family.
Rubinstein told Variety that the end felt fitting for what has become one of the series’ fan-favourite couples. “Once we introduced Jonah, you felt like this might be where the direction for Tarlos goes… I think it’s a really cathartic, beautiful full circle of how I wished we would end the show for these two. And for TK, it truly is a happily ever after for them, and a beautiful way to leave these characters.”
