Fans of The Boys spin-off series, Gen V, are going mad for Marie and Jordan’s romance as the show returns for season two.
The pair’s relationship began to develop during season one of the show set at the Godolkin University School of Crimefighting for young superheroes. And with the trailer for the second season hinting at further development of that relationship, fans justifiably got excited.
The first three episodes of season two dropped last Wednesday (17 September) and have proven a hit with fans keen to see what happens next to Marie (played by Jay Sinclair) and Jordan (played by London Thor and Derek Luh in a joint role).

Jordan is bi-gender and has the ability to change genders, hence why the character is played by two actors – one to play the fire-blasting female side, and another to play the indestructible male side. Marie’s main ability is to manipulate blood.
So far in season two we’ve seen Jordan and Marie reunite after spending time at the Elmira Adult Rehabilitation Centre. Things aren’t totally smooth to begin with but in episode two the pair talk things out and share an intimate encounter. They later share their feelings openly with one another.
“Finished the first 3 episodes and all i can say is; mariejordan you are everything to me,” wrote one person on X/Twitter sharing images of the pair.

“Welcome back mariejorda,” someone put on a fan cam on TikTok. “I fear i’m OBSESSED w them,” someone else said. Another fan commented: “This is soooo amazingggg.”
Elsewhere, someone wrote: “Marie is in love with Jordan – all of Jordan. It’s refreshing to see, as someone who’s a nonbinary bisexual herself.”
Though the love could be a doomed one as a trailer for the fourth episode, set to drop on Wednesday (24 September), shows Marie and Jordan having to face off in a mandated fight.

However, Luh told Collider, at the Gen V premiere, Marie and Jordan are “endgame.” Luh added, “It’s like young love so it’s funky, it’s awkward, it has its highs and its lows, but truly I really love the Marie and Jordan relationship. I’m excited to see where it goes. This season is no shortage of Marie/Jordan and no shortage of the Marie/Jordan love story for sure.”
Gen V is streaming on Prime Video.
