ITV has moved the remaining episodes of Graham Norton-hosted reality series The Neighbourhood out of its 9pm slot and into later evening times, as the show reportedly struggles to hold viewers.

The final five episodes will air from Friday 8 May to Tuesday 12 May, no longer in primetime. Friday’s instalment is scheduled for 10.45pm, with the weekend episodes at 10pm on Saturday and 10.20pm on Sunday, before returning to 10.45pm on Monday and Tuesday. The full run is also available as an ITVX box set.

The series sees multiple households compete in a popularity contest, with a £250,000 prize for the winner. An ITV spokesperson told Digital Spy: “The full box set ofThe Neighbourhoodis now available to stream on ITVX. Additionally, the show will continue to air in an evening slot on ITV.”

New ITV times for the final week

The Neighbourhood premiered last month (April 2026) with a 9pm slot on ITV1. The later timings now cover the end of the debut season, which totals 11 instalments.

The show has reportedly had a shaky start in the ratings. Viewing figures are said to have dipped below 500,000 by the third episode.

What’s been said about a second series

It has also been reported that, along with a move to a later time slot, it’s not looking like the show will get a second run.

“It’s a real shame because we loved the concept and Graham as the host. But sadly the viewers didn’t feel the same way and the ratings have been disappointing,” an insider reportedly told The Mirror. “We won’t be making another series.”

Viewer reaction has also been mixed, with one person posting on X: “A lot of us tried to give it a second chance and benefit of the doubt but it was hopeless.”

Norton described the purpose-built set in Derbyshire: “Arriving in Derbyshire; I’d seen pictures but I didn’t quite understand the scale of it. It really is like being on a movie set, except it’s 360 – everywhere you look, it’s real.”

Away from ITV, Norton fronts BBC One’s The Graham Norton Show and remains a long-time Eurovision commentator, as well as a prominent out gay broadcaster.
