Missi Pyle comes out as queer: ‘I’m looking for a person’

American actress and singer Missi Pyle has revealed that she is queer in an appearance on the podcast and Netflix video series Shut Up Evan.
The 53-year-old actor joined The Group Chat format of the show to talk to Evan Ross Katz, singer-songwriter King Princess and television producer Norman Baker. During the segment, she revealed that she is single, looking to get out there and date, and is open to meeting people of all genders.
The Sterling Point, Galaxy Quest and Dodgeball star said that she struggles to meet people she is interested in dating, especially on dating apps.
While Pyle doesn’t consider herself to be particularly famous, she did admit that having a public profile as someone who acts in film and TV makes things hard.
In response, Katz and King Princess said that they would take Pyle out to Brooklyn to meet someone. King Princess followed this up by asking: “Are you cool with whatever gender?” to which Pyle happily responded: “Yeah, I am.”

While Pyle didn’t label her sexuality, King Princess did call her a “bisexual diva”, which made the actor chuckle.
Pyle went on to share: “I would say that I’ve been mostly in heterosexual relationships, but I have had others, and I think now that I get older, I’m just sort of like, I’m looking for a person. Well, persons.”
As the group continued to discuss what Pyle is looking for in a relationship, she said that she was open to a younger girlfriend and potentially polyamory. King Princess wasn’t sure on the polyamory side, jokingly responding: “No, that’s too many people. I think poly’s too many people.”
