TikTok star Max Balegde splits from boyfriend Andrew after five years

TikTok influencer Max Balegde has split from his boyfriend Andrew Spann after five years together, with the duo unfollowing each other.
The social media star, real name Max Trobe, has left his heartbreak back in the UK and jetted off to Ibiza.
According to The Sun, the split came a few weeks ago. A source told the publication: “Max and Andrew broke up a few weeks ago and it’s been incredibly tough for both given how long they were together.
“Max is enjoying some time in Ibiza and will be ploughing ahead with work as he navigates the situation.”
Rumours of the split first emerged on TikTok when fans noticed they had unfollowed each other on Instagram.
“No because today I was just thinking that I haven’t seen them together in a while on socials,” one fan said. Another said: “I’m unwell I cannot if this is a break up I will sob as if it be my own break up.”

Who is Max Balegde?
Max Trobe took on his social media moniker Max Balegde as a reference to that iconic video clip of Jesy Nelson attempting a Jamaican accent. He joined TikTok in January 2020 and before long was regularly going viral.
He has courted controversy during his time on social media, perhaps most notably for mocking a proposal that happened on the London Underground, and poking fun at Liam Payne in videos posted before his tragic death.
However he has also done good with his platform, raising funds for trans charity Not A Phase, and defending Chappell Roan over the boundaries she imposes with fans.
Balegde has since gone on to appear on a number of television shows, including the Australian version of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, The Celebrity Apprentice, and Celebrity Gogglebox, which he filmed with friend and podcast co-host George Clark.
Andrew Spann has also become a social media influencer since dating Balegde, with the duo often appearing in videos together.
They have teased fans with their break-up in the past as part of April Fools’ Day pranks.
However it appears this time it’s for real.
